La Scala and Video Mandala

A show by Toby Webster.  Modelled on the Scala Cinema in London which in its day presented an eclectic programme from art porn and rock documentary, Catalyst Arts Gallery Space was transformed into a cinema with a full tier seating bank, psychedelic carpet and red velvet curtains and pleated red nylon wall coverings. The opening night included a 24 hour screening.       

Video Mandala consists of 5 Video booths showing tapes compiled from TV broadcasts, public access presentation, home videos and product promotional videos.
