OGHAM

22.2.22 - 31.3.22

Ogham is an experiment in collaboration and reaction. Three artists, Stephanie Tanney, Brian Kielt, and Rachel Macmanus, whose practices share a similar thread, but work in separate mediums, will be partaking in a three week residency in Catalyst Arts gallery, to culminate in a presentation of work.

This project looks at the ways in which these artists explore each other's methods of practice to create new ways of developing and exhibiting work.

The residency is open to the public, and we're inviting you to come along during our opening hours to chat to the artists and interact with works in progress.

Rachel Botha interviews Jen Alexander, Catalyst Arts Co-Director, and artists Stephanie Tanney, Brian Kielt, and Rachel Macmanus about the Ogham residency project and their art practices. In keeping with the concept of process Rachel has shared her own notes in the margin; these annotations include references to theory she hasn’t looked at since her Masters; books she wished she had time to read; and meandering personal thoughts.

After this series of interviews Rachel will respond to the presentation of work at the end of Ogham residency project opening next week.
