S/L’21

An exhibition by Sculpture / Lens students at Belfast School of Art

Friday 23 April - Wednesday 5 May 2021

Catalyst Arts is excited to present S/L’21 - an exhibition of work by artists on the 2nd year of Sculpture / Lens at Belfast School of Art.

The exhibition has been installed in Catalyst Arts, however the show is taking place virtually via documentation and artist profiles on the Sculpture/Lens Instagram @sculpturelens

The artists in the show have been drawn to viewing their practice as a self-reflective cathartic release, exploring our relationship to our bodies, identities and domestic spaces. After a year spent fluctuating between the real, not real and hyper-real, many artists in the show have also been mitigating the idea of truth.

We're delighted to be showing work by Tomas Antunes; Emily Scott; Alicia Beattie; Darcy Patterson; Reuben Brown; Eva Perrott; Megan Gibson; Alanna O’Donnell; Judith Guiney; Shannon Murphy; Rachel Kavanagh; Charles McMurtry; Kathryn Leyburn; Hannah McQuillan; Mel Maurovic.
